The World’s Biggest Event in Licensing was held at
the Mandalay Bay Convention Center Las Vegas, Nevada!
For 37 years, Licensing Expo has connected the world’s most influential product, entertainment, character, fashion, and corporate brand owners with manufacturers, licensees and retailers. Millions of products across the world started life as a conversation at Licensing Expo.
Day 1 was filled with big names and new features across the show floor. More than 150 new exhibitors entered the fray—totaling 460+ licensors and agents representing over 35 countries. Over the three days, more than 16,000 licensing professionals attended the show and more press attended than ever before.
Inventor Process, Inc. exhibited at Licensing Expo 2016 and it was a great success! We meet with more than 50 licensing professionals to discuss potential product placement. The inventors we represent are amazed with the high level of response and product commitment we received at Licensing Expo, making them one step closer to invention success! The increased attendance from retailers and manufacturers was noted by many exhibitors who met with, among others, Target, Mattel, Sony, Infomercials, Inc., Procter & Gamble, Amazon.com, HGTV Home, Old Navy, Claire’s, Petco, Walgreens, Best Buy, Disney, Forever 21, Walmart and Hasbro.
Retail sales of licensed products grew to $251.7 billion in 2015, a gain of 4.2 percent from the previous year, according to the 2016 International Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association’s (LIMA) Annual Global Licensing Industry Survey conducted by Brandar Consulting LLC.
All product categories were strongly represented including toys & games, housewares, automotive, apparel & accessories, health & beauty, tools & equipment, décor, sporting goods, pet products and electronics.
