Inventor Process, Inc. recently exhibited at Licensing Expo 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada June 9th – 11th. In its 35th year, the show did not disappoint during its three-day stretch at Mandalay Bay’s Convention Center. Nearly 5,000 brands and product owners rolled out the red carpet for 16,000 licensing professionals. We exhibited for two reasons: to assist our clients in securing licensing agreements for their inventions, and to expand our network of manufacturers and retailers. And it was a great success!

Licensing is the process of leasing for a royalty or other benefit a legally protected entity, such as a patent, trademark or copyright. Most companies consider licensing a significant marketing tool, and that’s why it’s widely used by everyone from major corporations to the smallest of small business. Entertainment, sports, new products and fashion are the areas of licensing that are most readily apparent to consumers, but the business reaches into the worlds of corporate brands, art, publishing, colleges and universities, and non-profit groups, to name a few.

Inventor Process Expo BlogLicensing can extend a new product or existing brand into new categories, areas of a store, or into new stores overall. Licensing allows an inventor to move a new idea from concept to product on the retail shelves without making a major investment in new manufacturing processes, machinery or facilities. Inventors and creators reap the benefit of licensing by enjoying royalty revenue and exposure in new channels or store aisles.

Inventor Process can provide the invention assistance necessary to have you presenting your concept to the world’s leading manufacturers and retailers in a protected, credible manner; with the goal being a licensing agreement. Our exclusive Direct Submission Program™ is a specific, easy-to-follow plan that can benefit inventors by focusing on patenting, marketing and royalty negotiations. When companies respond to your invention our highly-skilled professionals will then be ready to negotiate the most lucrative licensing agreement possible. We can help you succeed!
