The International Home + Housewares Show

The Inventor Process, Inc. team recently returned from the International Home + Housewares Show (IHHS) in Chicago. The International Home & Housewares Show is where inventors display new products, licensees discover innovation, buyers discover trends, and the world’s most influential industry leaders connect to do business.

This year’s IHHS was a great event, and was brimming with innovation. The show was sold out with 2,204 exhibitors (It felt like we visited each of them) from 47 countries, and attendance was at near record levels. The media coverage was tremendous and is expected to garner over 350 million impressions.

The Inventor Process, Inc. team met with many companies and made them aware of the products we we’re representing, and specifically the ones they may have immediate interest in. We met with the product development officer for Lifetime Brands which represents Kitchen Aid and many more well-known companies/brands. Our team even met with iconic brand owners such as the owner of the Chia Pet and Clapper products. These are the type of direct connections that can help our clients achieve invention success.

During the IHHS, we worked diligently visiting relevant exhibitors, and introducing ourselves to numerous attendees. In each of these encounters, we ensured to leave a promotional takeaway. We wanted to make as many relevant professionals aware of Inventor Process and the inventions we represent. By the end of the show we had run out of not only promotional takeaways but business cards, too.

Overall, the show was an outstanding success and Inventor Process clients will benefit from it.

Licensing Expo 2017 is right around the corner. This is the world’s largest tradeshow dedicated exclusively to licensing, and as such manufacturing companies and retail organizations are heavily represented. This will be our fourth year as an exhibitor. I’d recommend taking advantage of one of our representation packages.

Additionally, through our exclusive Direct Submission Program™ we can help you patent, market and succeed with your invention. Our proven invention strategy makes the decision-makers of key manufacturers/licensees aware of your invention.
